Ceramic Coating vs PPF: Which Paint Protection Is Right for You?

Both ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) protect your car's paint, but they work in very different ways.

Ceramic Coating

A chemically bonded layer that enhances gloss, adds hydrophobic water-beading, and resists UV fading and light chemical stains. It does not protect against stone chips or deep scratches.

Paint Protection Film

A physical, self-healing film applied to high-impact areas that absorbs stone chips, scuffs, and scratches. It does not add the same gloss enhancement as a coating on its own.

The Best of Both

Many of our customers combine PPF on high-impact panels with a full-body ceramic coating on top, getting impact protection where it matters most and gloss and easy maintenance everywhere else.
